This combination trip lets certified divers experience Hol Chan Marine Reserve underwater before heading directly to Shark Ray Alley for a snorkeling encounter with some of Belize's most recognizable marine life.
Hol Chan Marine Reserve
Hol Chan is one of the best-known marine areas around Ambergris Caye. The dive offers an opportunity to explore a vibrant section of the Belize Barrier Reef in relatively shallow water, making it accessible to a broad range of certified divers.
Your divemaster will provide a full briefing before entering the water, including conditions, maximum depth and the planned route through the reserve.
How the Combo Works
Unlike our local multi-tank trips, you do not return to the dive center between these two activities. After completing the Hol Chan dive, the boat heads directly to Shark Ray Alley.
Complete a guided scuba dive through Hol Chan Marine Reserve.
Travel directly from Hol Chan for approximately 30 minutes of snorkeling.
Head back to San Pedro after completing both experiences.
Morning Schedule
The morning trip is our regularly scheduled departure and does not require the afternoon four-person minimum.
Meet the dive team, prepare equipment and complete your pre-trip check-in.
Depart San Pedro for Hol Chan Marine Reserve.
Dive Hol Chan before continuing directly to Shark Ray Alley for snorkeling.
Return to Belize Pro Dive Center after completing both activities.

An afternoon Hol Chan Dive & Snorkel Combo may operate when at least 4 guests are confirmed.
A minimum of 4 guests is required for the afternoon departure.
Shark Ray Alley
After your dive, you'll stay aboard and travel directly to Shark Ray Alley for approximately 30 minutes of snorkeling.
This shallow-water stop is known for close marine encounters and provides a completely different perspective from the scuba portion of the trip.
Our standard recreational dive ratio is up to six divers for each divemaster. Groups may be smaller depending on guest numbers and diver experience.
